We take a couple of verses from different books of the Bible today.pls listen attentively.

James 1:19
Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger;

Prov 15:1
A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

Psalm141:3
Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips!

Prov12:18
There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing

Prov 15:2
The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouths of fools pour out folly

Ephesians 4:15
Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ

All these verses make emphasis on quality communication and control of the tongue.The need to think before talking and the need to hear well before responding.
The responses we give can be good,bad and ugly depending on how we frame it.
In communicating with a person or a people truth is good but atimes you need to be tactful in delivery.

For instance I could say to a person you are going to hell as a sinner .That is saying the truth.i could also be tactful by saying my friend hell is not your portion stop behaving as a sinner.its the same message but The difference in the 2 approach is that instead of making an enemy you actually make a friend.
From all the verses we read earlier .we can deduce the following
1: The tongue of the wise commends knowledge

2: We must speak the truth in love

3: the tongue of the wise brings healing

4: harsh word stirs up anger.

We see tactfulness displayed by Nathan the prophet when he confronted king David. He didn’t challenge him instantly about adultery of the king but put forward a story which pricked the conscience of David. Read 2 Samuel 12:1-10
Nathan communicated well ,he retained his relationship with the king in doing so.

Child of God learn to communicate without making enemies,learn to communicate in godly manner,learn to communicate tactfully .you don’t need to make enemies.make friends .you need friends not enemies these days.God bless you as you go out today in Jesus name.

Now I pray.Let the blood of Jesus laminate your life and family with divine covering for protection,
The wisdom of God Almighty will guide you in all YPUR dealings.

Whoever is digging a pit for you will fall into it in Jesus name.
Every conspiracy of darkness to use you or members of your family for evil will fail in Jesus name.

Today and always I declare goodness and mercy of God follow you always in Jesus name.
Dust to dust ashes to ashes will not be heard in your family.in the remaining days of this year let heaven bombard you with joy,peace,favours and the goodness of God in Jesus name.

Happy birthday and happy anniversary to all celebrants today.you are blessed ,Let the glory of God overshadow your celebration in Jesus name.
